The Entergy Corporation 2010 Annual Report won a Silver award in the MerComm International Annual Report Competition. Information on the competition can be found at mercommawards.com. The report was entered in the category/class of Overall Annual Report: Electricity Generator and Retailer.

   The Entergy 2009 Annual Review was recognized with a Silver award in the prestigious Graphis 100 Best Annual Reports 2011 show. The report also won a Bronze Medal for Illustration in the DSVC 2011 Dallas Show. The book received an Award of Excellence as well for being accepted into the show. Congratulations to all involved!

Benoit Design has been recognized with three Astrid Awards!

   The Entergy 2009 Annual Review and the Entergy 2009 Sustainability Report both won Silver Awards in their respective categories. The Entergy 2009 Online Sustainability Report received a Gold Award in the Websites: Corporate Responsibility Report category. Because it won a Gold, the online sustainability report is now eligible for an Astrid Grand Award, which will be selected in May.    

Benoit Design’s work, both print and interactive, has received many awards since our last news update.

   In the Dallas IABC Quill Awards competition's Communication Creative Division, the Entergy 2009 Annual Review and the Penson Worldwide 2009 Annual Report both won the Award of Excellence. The Westwood Holdings Group 2009 Annual Report was honored with an Award of Merit in the same category. Also receiving an award of merit was our Creative Juices interactive promotion. The Entergy 2009 Annual Review and the Entergy 2008 Sustainability Report both won Silver Awards in this year's Davey Awards.

   In the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) Spotlight awards, the Entergy 2009 Online Annual Review and Entergy 2009 Online Sustainability Report received the Gold and Silver awards respectively. The Entergy 2009 Online Annual Review was awarded the Gold MarCom Award from the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals in the International Creative competition, and the Entergy 2009 Online Sustainability Report won a silver award in the iNova awards held by MerComm, Inc. The awards for the Online Annual Review are shared by Benoit Design and Peter Mayer Advertising in New Orleans.

Benoit Design’s work for Entergy has been recognized recently with numerous awards.

   In the Magnum Opus Awards competition, the 2008 Sustainaibilty Report received a Gold in the Best Energy Producer Publication category and the Entergy 2008 Annual Report won a Gold in the Best Overall Design category.

   The 2008 Online Annual Report won a “Stevie” (first place) in the Utility Website category of the American Business Awards. It also received an Award of Distinction (silver) in the “Websites - Visual Appeal” category of the Communicators Awards given by the International Academy of the Visual Arts. Benoit Design shares the honors for the online report with New Orleans-based Peter Mayer Advertising.

T.G.I. Friday's has selected Benoit Design to produce the menus for all T.G.I. Friday's restaurants! T.G.I. Friday's operates over 1000 restaurants in over 50 countries.

Benoit Design received three Bronze Quills at the Dallas IABC Quill Award Show. The Entergy Corporation, Penson Worldwide and Westwood Holdings Group 2008 Annual Reports were all honored with Awards of Excellence.

The Entergy Corporation 2007 Annual Report was awarded the Colonial Award for Excellence in the Best Annual Report, Photography/Graphic Design, and Online Annual Report categories in the American Society of Professional Communicators 2008 Annual Report Awards.

   The Smith International 2008 Annual Report received an Award of Excellence in the 2009 American Graphic Design USA Awards. Thousands of creative professionals have won awards in this national design competition over its three-decade history. The competition is sponsored by Adobe Systems Incorporated and open to everyone in the community: advertising agencies, design firms, corporate, institutional and publishing in-house departments, and more.

   The Smith International 2008 Annual Report also won a Bronze ARC Award in the Overall Annual Report: Oil & Gas Production Services category.

The Entergy Corporation 2007 Annual Report was chosen as one of the top 100 entries in the 2008 Black Book AR100 Award Show, the country’s largest and most prestigious design competition for Annual Reports! The 2007 Annual Report was also a Top Ten Illustration winner. A panel of award-winning judges look for excellence in design, typography, information graphics, photography, illustration, paper, and printing. Winners are showcased in the AR100 winner’s section.

The Entergy Corporation 2007 Annual Report received a Platinum Award in the 2007 Vision Awards, the League of American Communications Professionals’ annual report competition. The report scored a 97 out of 100 and ranked first in the Electric Utilities category. Ranked 45th out of 3,161 entries, it was also included in the Top 100 Winners Gallery.

Reports from our 2006 season have been winning a variety of awards and recognition!
   In the MerComm International ARC Awards, both the Entergy Corporation 2006 Annual Report and the Westwood Holdings Group 2006 Annual Report received Bronze Awards in their respective categories.

   The Westwood Holdings Group, Entergy Corporation, and The Dean Foods Company 2006 annual reports were each given the Award of Excellence in Communication and Graphic Design from Graphic Design USA's 2007 American Graphic Design Awards.
   In the American Business Communicators Annual Report Awards Competition, Entergy’s 2006 annual report received first-place honors in the categories of Narrative Presentation and Photography or Illustration, second-place in Financial Presentation, and third-place in Cover Design.
   The Entergy Corporation 2006 Sustainability Report won a Gold Award in the
League of American Communications Professionals Spotlight Awards. The report received an overall ranking at #53 out of 900+ entries and #2 out of 22 in the competition class ranking.

   And last but not least, Benoit Design was recognized with five Awards of Excellence at the 2007 Dallas IABC Quill Awards! The Entergy Corporation, Westwood Holdings Group, Penson Worldwide, and The Dean Foods Company 2006 Annual Reports were received the awards, as well as the Entergy Corporation 2006 Sustainability Report.

The Entergy Corporation 2006 Annual Report was selected by Neenah Paper to be included in their promotional Annual Report Samples kit. The kit will be shown and given to graphic design firms, investor relations teams and other Neenah clients nationwide to promote Neenah's lines of quality papers.

The Entergy Corporation 2005 Annual Report has been selected to appear in
Print’s Regional Design Annual 2007, the only comprehensive profile of design in the
United States.

The Entergy Corporation 2006 Annual Report received a Gold Award in the
2006 Vision Awards, the annual report competition held by the League of American Communications Professionals. As stated on the LACP website, “The 2006 Vision Awards Annual Report Competition drew an unprecedented number of submissions representing a broad range of industries and organizational sizes. More than
2,500 entries representing 21 countries were received, so competition was exceptionally tough.”

Benoit Design will have two annual reports in the 2007 DSVC Professional Show.
Both the Entergy Corporation and Westwood Holdings Group 2006 Annual Reports have been selected to be featured in the show. The DSVC Professional Show honors the best in professional design in the Dallas area.

Benoit Design earned six 2006 Davey Awards! The Dean Foods Company,
Westwood Holdings Group, and Entergy Corporation 2005 Annual Reports were all awarded Gold. The CenturyTel and ElkCorp 2005 Annual Reports received Silver, as well as the Entergy 2005 Sustainability Report.
   As described on the Davey Awards website, “David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock – the sort of thing small firms do each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the ‘Creative Davids’ who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets.”

The Dean Foods Company 2005 Annual Report was selected by Neenah Paper to be reprinted and included in their promotional Annual Report Samples kit. The kit will be shown and given to graphic design firms, investor relations teams and other Neenah clients nationwide to promote Neenah's lines of quality papers.

Benoit Design won an Award of Excellence in the recent Dallas IABC Quill Awards. The winning entry was the Entergy Corporation 2005 Annual Report entitled
“Tested/Dedicated to the Employees of Entergy Corporation” and revolved around efforts and challenges associated with Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The category was Publication Design/Annual Reports.

The Entergy Corporation 2005 Annual Report has been selected as a Grand Award contender for the 2006 MerComm International ARC Awards! As a Grand Award contender, this book will be competing for Best of Overall Annual Report and
Best of Show!

Benoit Design was recognized with four MerComm International ARC Awards for outstanding 2005 annual reports!

   The Entergy Corporation 2005 Annual Report earned a Gold Award for Overall Annual Report in Electric Companies/Systems: Central States. A Bronze Award was received for the Dean Foods Company 2005 Annual Report for Overall Annual Report in Consumer Packaged Goods. Both the ElkCorp and Westwood Holdings Group
2005 Annual Reports were awarded Honors.

The DSVC 2006 Dallas Show will feature two Annual Reports by Benoit Design this year. Both the 2004 and 2005 Entergy Corporation Annual Reports will be displayed in the show. The Dallas Show showcases the best in professional design in the Dallas area.

Benoit Design’s Entergy Corporation 2004 Annual Report was selected for the 2005 AR100 Award Show.
   The Black Book AR100 Award Show showcases the diverse talent required to create stellar Annual Reports, rewarding 100 entries across 10 categories: Design, Photography, Illustration, Typography, Printing, Cover Design, Use of Paper, Most Innovative Concept, “Judges Award” and, of course, “Best of Show”.
   The AR100 winners secure a coveted spot in the complete Black Book AR100 Awards Show Book.
